SUP, IT'S J-RIOT.

Welcome to my life.

I guess I better start you off from the beginning.

I lived in an awesome place called Noosa. Google it and you will find pictures of gorgeous beaches, people with minimal clothing, fancy restaurants, an upmarket feel but a chilled vibe. I was born and raised in this stunner of a town. What used to be a laid back surfy "village", grew to a popular destination for all the snobby pricks from Sydney and Melbourne to holiday. Or, for the retired CEO to come rest their bones and sink themselves into a rediculously luscious lifestyle. You'd also find many greedy investors looking to cash in on the popularity on this joint, but to me and my friends and the people that have grown up in this little Noosa town, it's a relaxed chilled place to be. That is, aside from all the drama and bullshit that carries on throughout small towns between guys, girls, clicks, posses', crews. That's why I tend to refer to Noosa as "the mini O.C". And if you went there, you would certainly understand.

So that's the background of where I'm from.

As much as the small town drama did shit me to tears, I did love it there. I loved watching the sunset on the beach, chilling or "negging" out at "Sleven". Negging is short for negatively hanging, and Sleven is so rightly Seven-Eleven. Going out with boys and then having your friend be with them a week later was the norm, and random fun was never too far away. Like all places it had it's pros and cons and at the end of the day the pros would definitely outway the shitty things about the place. However, what seemed to be a crappy month for me, my best friend who was also my roomie moving two hours away, my boyfriend breaking up with me and tuning my cousin and all my friends, my parents living eighteen hours north and my job not being much to write home about; I decided to pack up my shanty, sell my heapa of a car and move to the dirty rotten town of Innisfail.

Now, now, it's not all bad. My parents are managing two backpackers up here and I figured I'd give them a hand in the bookwork department and cruise along in life for a while. I meet heaps of random foreign people and accents never cease to make me laugh on the inside, but as far as friendships, drama, social circles and events are concerned, Innisfail has nothing really to offer me.

Fortunately, within the first week of being here I figured I would get lonely quite quickly so I hopped on Myspace (as we all do) and I browsed young people in this town of Innischill. The first little photo to pop up was this total cutie named Anthony. Hey, why not? I was newly single and figured I was in for a long drought, so I hopped on board the "tune ship" and got to tuning this new found hottie.

He messaged me back pretty much straight away and we decided to hang out that night and he would show me around. I don't know why or how this came about so suddenly, and randomly, but we haven't been apart since. And by the way, I moved six months ago. So we have been happily together (with the odd "I f*&%ing hate you, get out of my life" threats) since then and thank God I have at least one person to pass time with here. If we had of met in Noosa, there is no actual way we would of been together this long. He would of cheated, or I would of cheated, or some friend would be involved, some drama, something, anything! That's just how it was back there.

So basically, I've moved here and found the most wonderful man ever, despite being so confused about the switch in lifestyle. I've decided to start this blog to capture this new chapter in my life. It is something I'll always remember. I'll be writing about Anthony a lot, my new life and how I'm coping with this big move.
